<p>tango, I agree with you about Mark. He needs to know his place: as a background partner. </p>
<p>And now that Kirstie has made it known how much weight she lost, it seems as if that’s the (only) reason why some of these performers want to be in the show.</p>

<p>I thought last night’s show was somewhat uneventful, saving the best for last (JR Martinez). Aside from his performance, which had some controversy, all the others were extremely average. Not sure how this guy can lose. He’s the best dancer, performer, person, AND he has the best personality! I was really hoping that Chaz Bono would be physically able to perform well (he wasn’t and didn’t) and that Rob Kardashian would falter since I cannot stand watching or listening to ANY of the Kardashian Klan. He probably got saved for at least another week or two.</p>
<p>I thought Ricki was excellent. JR’s scores were too low. I can’t believe I’m typing this, but I’m pulling for Nancy Grace, too.</p>
<p>I agree that JR’s scores were far too low. He was wonderful. </p>
<p>After seeing the second dances, I"m even more convinced that Ricki is a much better dancer than Chynna.</p>

<p>Something about that Elisabetta Canalis grades on my nerves. I’m pulling for JR. He has such an infectious happiness you can’t help smiling and pulling for him and is a wonderful dancer. That guy dancing with Nancy Grace held his arms up too high. His arms were in her face the majority of the dance. She looked like she was a little girl dancing with her father.</p>
<p>I love JR—I am thinking Elisabetta will go—she is so pretty with a great body, I just think she should be so much better! But alas…
Chaz probably will go soon…interesting guy, interesting story…not a very good dancer.
I have bad knees too. The idea of dancing that way on them makes me cringe!</p>

Everyone hates Elizabeth but mostly think less of George Clooney.they want nanacy to stay as they like the “hot Irish guy” and Carson cressly is so funny. JR is so impressive!</p>
<p>Love Carson, and I know a lot of people can’t stand her, but I like Nancy too. Hoping Rob and Elisabetta go next… I agree that Mark is ick!</p>
<p>Elisabetta is off, We have decided that mark can get injured, Nancy kicked off, and then Tristan will have to step in with Kristen. I like david Arquette was glad he stayed. Rob is ok, but if he continues to pull that “I am so insecure living in my sisters’ shadow” for too long…</p>
<p>I agree that Mark Ballas has become such a stage hog over the last couple of seasons. He is a wonderful dancer, but he overshadows his partner. It is becoming obnoxious. I think Elisabetta will soon be gone. She does not have a likeable personality. I love Carson- not the best dancer but funny and full of joy. I think JR is an amazing guy- inside and out. He is such a positive, charismatic person. Have fun watching tonight!</p>

<p>Elisabetta seemed like a cold fish. In that first outfit, she looked way too skinny. She kind of had the problem Susan Lucci had – super-thin but without the power of a strong core so it made her look like she was going to fly away or break.</p>
<p>And I think Max needs to find a way to dress Hope so she looks softer. She’s so muscular with a thick waist.</p>
<p>Note: I would give my eye teeth to have either Elisabetta’s or Hope’s bodies …</p>
<p>I enjoyed the theme of last night’s show. Haven’t been much of a Rikki Lake fan-- until last night. Her Rumba was beautiful and Derek really choreographed a nice routine. JR once again was inspirational and had the most emotional performance of the night. He seems to even bring out a much nicer side to Karina Smirnoff, his partner, who for me hasn’t ever been this likeable in any season before now. I’m not sure the fans can save Chaz two weeks in a row…</p>

<p>I’ve been saying from the first week that Rikki is a beautiful dancer. I don’t watch the show but find videos of the dancers I’m interested in the next day. I watched Chynna, Ricki, and JR this morning. He is wonderful. Chynna is beautiful but not as good a dancer as Rikki.</p>
<p>I missed most of the show last night and so am getting to catch up tonight. Wow, that JR Martinez routine was so touching that I cried. Agree that he makes Karina more likable by softening her. She’s not relying on her usual bump and grind stuff. Ricki’s routine was great. I still came in a bit late. Did anyone dance poorly? Who is going home?</p>
<p>ETA: Oh, and I love the song JR danced to. Makes me cry every time I hear it.</p>
<p>I can’t believe Chaz is still in it (he’s “safe” as of tonight)…I thought he was the weakest of all the dancers, particularly this week. Watching this week’s dance that he did, if you just focused on him and not his partner, he barely was dancing and was mostly walking and all very simplistic stuff.</p>
<p>Youdon’tsay…btw, Hope was dressed much more feminine, pretty, and sexy this week and I thought she did a good job. At the moment, however, she is “in jeopardy.”</p>
<p>Thank goodness Carson was not sent home. I would have been really disappointed not to see him again!</p>
<p>Let’s not ruin this and make it a “dance” contest - that’s boring. This is a personality contest with credit given for giving it a good try. I’ve found that I’m a good predictor of the folks who will be voted off early. If I don’t know who they are, they’re going home.</p>
