<p>I hadn’t noticed that Hope and Maks aren’t making the rounds.</p>
<p>The thing with Maks and Derek – remember when Maks was talking about “his” show, he made a crack at Derek, saying that Derek is most interested in what’s best for Derek rather than the show. It’s obvious Maks doesn’t really care for him. I don’t know if that’s because Derek left for a season or what. And notice how the voters chose Derek to do the dance this week with Anna. I think Maks is just getting too full or himself/is jealous of the attention Derek receives and because he’s won twice.</p>
<p>Speaking of that dance, I didn’t really care for it. I don’t think Derek and Anna had good chemistry.</p>

<p>No, he finished second to Emmitt Smith. The look on Karina’s face when they announced it was priceless. She looked like she had a handful of nasty, smelly vitamins in her mouth.</p>
<p>Usually the couple voted off appears on The View on Thursday. I actually am sitting here with the tv on while preparing my Thanksgiving list, and I did not hear Hope and Maks mentioned in the beginning announcements. I might have missed their names, but I am guessing they decided not to show. I have no idea if the appearance is optional, or something Dancing with the Stars and ABC have in the contacts.</p>

<p>Man, that’s some bad blood. Weird that she cried. I like a competitor, but c’mon. Get it together. Maybe we should merget his thread with the one on Parenthood. The 7yo this week was outed as a spoiled brat who didn’t know how to lose.</p>
<p>I think ellemenope hit the nail on the head when she brought up the fact that Derek may have embarrassed and shown up Maks during that rehearsal segment, when Derek took over teaching Hope that part of her routine that she was having trouble learning from Maks.</p>
<p>But I think that was after Maks made the unflattering comments about Derek only caring about himself.</p>
<p>Of course, it’s probably all made up so people like me speculate about it. lol</p>
<p>I don’t think either Derek or Maks are all that popular among the other dancers, but for different reasons. Maks, of course, is much more out there in his emotions and remarks, and Derek has the role of the “good boy”. However, a lot of the dancers resent how the producers treat Derek with kid gloves, give him the best partners, and do their best to see that he and his partner make it to the finals. That’s why I thought they might have been in danger this past week. The judges gave Hope & Maks such low scores, not because of how they danced (although she was clearly the weakest of those left and deserved to go) but to insure that they wouldn’t be voted through by fans. The overscoring of Ricki’s weak samba was another indication of this.</p>
<p>The votes for Ricki are really votes for Derek, he has a big following.
Derek makes all his stars look great.
Ricki is too tentative and cautious,waiting to make a mistake. Bummer.
JR last week in the instant jive and Rob this week in the samba looked so joyful -giving their all in the performance, so much fun to watch their faces.

<p>Wasn’t really feeling that first dance of Ricki’s. Nothing wrong with it, just didn’t feel spectacular.</p>
<p>Oh booo. Rob is pulling ahead. I don’t like his family and I don’t think he’s a “top dancer”. I guess I prefer JR. He looked like he got his spunk back in his freestyle dance tonight, but it was missing in that 1st one. And Rikki? I thought her shoes were so high that she looked like she was dancing on her tippy toes the whole time; that dance just little steps, swirls thanks to Derek, but no hips.</p>
<p>My thoughts on who will win: 1st - Rob & Cheryl, 2nd - JR & ??, and 3rd - Rikki & Derek</p>

<p>It’s really all up to the popular vote now, unless someone really messes up. None of the first dances was 30 worthy. But I did think both Rob & JR deserved 30s for their freestyle. What was exciting about Rob’s freestyle was that it was full out for the whole dance. There was no margin for error there. And it was a great song!</p>
<p>I still think JR will win it all.</p>
<p>I still think JR will win, but I must admit during that last dance I couldn’t take my eyes off Karina. She looked HAWT and like a woman possessed. Rob’s freestyle was good, too.</p>
<p>I am rooting for JR just because …I loved how he was willing to trim the routine so that Karina would not be in danger of hurting her neck again and I just think he’s an amazing human being. He has done more to put our veterans in a positive light than anybody else I have seen. His attitude, his positivity in the face of what happened to him, his demeanor (I have not heard him knock another contestant or pro) and his dance ability have endeared him to my entire family.</p>
<p>This is the first freestyle from Derek that I’ve seen that didn’t just wow me. Too bad–because my theory is that whoever wins the free style will win the competition. So, it’s between Rob and JR…too close to call at this point.</p>
<p>Agreed. But I think Ricki is part of the problem. Even though technically she’s really good, she comes across as too wound and kind of nervous.</p>

Derek outshone and literally danced circles with flourishes around the stiff, scrunchy faced Ricki.
Both JR and Rob put on great performances when they danced their respective freestyles.
However, Karina’s body in the yellow and grape colored outfits was the show stopper.

<p>I wrote on a friend’s FB that Karina in that last number made me want to switch teams! ;)</p>
<p>As I’ve written all season long, Karina has never been my favorite, but she has done a great job this season playing to JR’s strengths and image and dialing back her tendency to be a little too raunchy at times, relying on her sexuality too often and too early. She played it just right this season, and they deserve the win.</p>
<p>Season 13 DWTS started off looking like D+R were going to runaway with the trophy.
Enjoyed watching Rob coming up on the outside as the dark horse, he+Cheryl nailed the Argentine tango.
JR wore his heart on his sleeve and America responded to him.
This season had created some spirited conversations at the water cooler, gym, and lunchroom.
Unfortunately, we were exposed to Nancy Grace’s under carriage as she did cartwheels.
