Danforth Scholars Question

I received my packet in the mail today. There are three short answer questions, but no word limits for them. Anyone know a suggested length for them?

I got my packet today too. Any recommendations?

Anyone? 10char

I think I was in the ~200 word range for each question last year, although there were four short answers then. That was really just a guess on my part though, as much more wouldn’t have fit easily onto the application packet, and much less wouldn’t have answered the questions. Just express yourself clearly, don’t give them a novel, and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Best of luck!

I have not recieved my packet yet. What are the three questions? Thank-you

not a novel? Why?

Because they have alot of the scholarship application packets to read, and don’t want to spend days on each.*

- I say assuming the above poster was serious. Though it seems sarcastic, in view of who actually uses CC, this may well be an actual question.

^ I have the packet too, and I distinctly remember there being a word “limit.”

goes to find packet

Ok, I lied, but it does specify about 500 words for the main essay, which means each of the individual “Short Answers” should be significantly…shorter. Pretty self-explanatory haha.

I would go for about 250 words apiece.

o i thought you meant not to put down a novel for “suggested book”, implying that we should choose our favorite deep, philosophical non-fiction work or something.
