<p>We found out during winter break that our D has inflamed vocal chords and has been put on rest for at least 2 months. We are so glad for Patti Raine in that she suspected the problem early, discussed it with my husband and we were able to get my D in to see a specialist here in CA that knew of the famous ENT guy in Philly, and had had the same training. He gave her a full work up, saw allergists, etc., and so now she knows what to do. It’s been a very difficult 6 months or so as she was working so hard on her voice, yet knew something was wrong. I am very relieved that we found out now before she developed nodes on her vocal chords. It is encouraging to me that Ms. Raine and Charlie Gilbert care enough about my D that they took steps to make sure she did not ruin her voice. This is another reason we really are happy with Uarts.</p>
