Freshman and sophomore year GPAs: over 4.0 (uw)
Junior year GPA: 3.8ish (B+'s in English and Calc BC)
Cumulative GPA after junior year: 4.0ish
Rank after sophomore year: top 2.5%
Rank after junior year: lower…I don’t know yet, probably top 5%
competitive public HS</p>

<p>Old SAT 1470 (720M 750V)
New SAT 2240 (740CR 750M 750W)
Math IIC 800
Chemistry 790
US History 740
PSAT 233 (80W 80CR 73M)</p>

<p>Have taken 4 AP’s (English Lang, Calc BC, Chemistry, and US Hist)</p>

<p>Full IB student, etc etc</p>

<p>My D just sent off her ED paperwork today. She is so excited. Hey do you know if Dartmouth has a video on the website. I could have sworn that i have watched one before. If so please let me know the site.

<p>My D intends to apply ED. New SAT 2240 (800 Crit, 700 Math, and 740 Writing); SAT II Chem 750 ; Still has to take 2 more SAT II’s. Rank about 6 or 7 out of 280 (a very smart class!!!) ; Weighted GPA about 4.3
Marching Band for 4 yrs, Key Club sec., plays 3 instruments and practices 3 instruments (piano since kindergarten and clarinet since 4th grade; took up violin as well 3 yrs. ago). Also Mini Med School program, National Merit Commended Scholar (NJ) and Natl Hispanic Scholar. Ntl Honor Soc, and Spanish World Language Honor Society. AP Chem grade of 4. Taking senior yr. AP Modern Euro History, AP Spanish V, AP English, AP Calc. BC, Honors Biochemistry, Wind Ensemble, and taking Physics online thru Stanford EPGY as school unable to schedule her for 2 yrs. into Physics. Volunteer at local hospital for 2 summers. I doubt it helps that her grandmother’s brother went to Dartmouth from Puerto Rico at the age of 15.
She wants this school only!!!. Any chance???</p>

<p>she definitely has a chance and it is probably, at least, a decent chance. i would say a good chance but the world of college admissions is so fickle and so unpredictable. best of luck!</p>
