Especially for internationals! I have heard that some domestic applicants received fin aid emails but am yet to hear about internationals receiving anything or noticing a date update

S24’s portal now just has one sentence saying they are in the final stages of the process and that decisions will be available on 3/28 @ 7pm. All other information is gone. We didn’t apply for financial aid.

Makes sense. Everyone else has only fin aid info afaik. For people that did not apply, they don’t need to display that info
is no date change actually a bad sign? and how long do those even happen?
No one is sure. We are speculating based on prev years. Some got in without the emails or date changes. Some noticed their dates changed 2-3 days prior to Ivy day, it is all portal astrology
Interesting – makes sense. Whatever’s the truth, I know I won’t be missing this process!
I have one date change, on 3/11, but it’s for a form Wesleyan made me reupload, so I’m assuming Dartmouth’s system simply redownloaded it.

Portal has been totally changed. Only financial aid page left. Admission page is gone, instead has a sentence before financial aid checklist

What is the date change?
In short, the date of submission of your fin aid materials changing is seen as a good sign. Say I submitted my materials in early Feb or mid to late Jan but the dates have been updated to late Feb or March…that apparently indicates acceptance.
does the date change happen on the portal? or is it on a different financial aid platform?
Dartmouth does not have a separate fin aid portal like Amherst or Columbia. You should be able to monitor any changes on your application portal itself where the fin aid checklist is
So are you saying that the “received” dates change on the portal for the various documents?
Yes. And if I am not wrong someone in this forum had their dates updated to March.
Viva astrology: is there a link in the portal that indicates actual outcomes several hours before the official admission release, and which works for all applicants, ie those seeking FA and those who aren’t applying for FA?

Okay so, this seemed to have worked for me. Takes me to a page allowing me to ‘meet other admitted students from your area’.
I did not submit Peer Rec
I did not receive any fin aid emails
I am international
I have not had any date changes on my portal
I only have a 33 ACT
I did not get an interview (I know that is irrelevant but I am adding it in anyway)
So, I highly, highly doubt that this is an indicator of acceptance, but I would be happy to be proved wrong. I reckon everyone will be able to register for the event.
I was able to get in and it pre-filled my son’s info. We would be so thrilled if this would be a positive sign!
What do you mean? As in you cannot submit a reception?
