Dartmouth Class of 2028 Official Thread

I entered the site with my son’s portal credentials and it pre-filled his info. I did not hit submit though so not sure if the other person who tried it and got access denied tried submit and then got an error after?

Hit the submit button, then access denied

Deny here too, anyone else try

I am guessing, in this case, everyone can access and fill out the forms, but not everyone is allowed to submit a form. Does anybody experience something else?

Same here. I was able to get in, put in our zip code, and it prefilled with my son’s info. Interesting.

It would be great if other people can check

I’ve been only able to choose a location and have my information prefilled. Once I hit submit I get an error

It seems like (thus far) you are the only one who can actually register for the event. Are you sure you can successfully hit submit and proceed to the NEXT page, b/c everyone can get to the point where their info is pre-filled for registration, but they then get access denied once they try to hit submit. If you can get to the page AFTER you hit submit, could you please post a screenshot? It would be confirmation that successfully proceeding beyond submit is an indication of admission. Otherwise, if everyone (including you) is getting access denied, then we’re either all rejected, or the system is deliberately blocking ALL registrations until after 7pm ET on March 28

Yes! Well put.

I am intl too which location did you choose

does not show any events in my region/country

Is it sensible to assume that students admitted from certain regions will only be able to register for events in their specific regions…

you can register for any region i suppose

Oh well then…says access denied for me too lol

i see. it probably doesn’t mean anything, we need a bigger sample size!

I do know that some decisions are made last minute altho at this point this is prolly more delusional and self-pity than anything lol. For those who are able to access the admitted students day, I think it might be a good sign! It is quite unusual that very few are able to do so

anything to pass time at this point

My mock trial team just won state and advanced to nationals!

Is there a way to notify Dartmouth atp or is it just too late? I feel like this is a pretty big deal since last year we just qualified for state and didn’t place there, and sophomore year we were regional finalists but did not advance to state. but I’m guessing it’s too late

I was also selected to present my research at an int conference. This was whwn the update button was present in the portal. So I just sent it altho I doubt they will consider it at this point…
