While I think getting an email asking for docs is a good sign, I think not getting an email is not necessarily a bad sign. Maybe they have everything they need?
All this speculation about reading all the tea leaves is just that. Speculation. Getting emails, not getting emails. Some people say they got in, some people say they didn’t, most never say one way or the other.
So my advice is just keep your fingers crossed and realize that it’s mostly just one big lottery and your daughter will be just fine either way.
saw someone say that all tabs might mean they haven’t decided on our application yet (which seems unlikely at this point since decisions are probably less than a week at max from now). From the poll on Reddit about 25/80 ppl were saying they saw all tabs, so idk, it probably means nothing
I have only have the home and financial aid tabs. The home tab just says that the admissions office is in the final stages of the reveiw process and the financial aid tab has looked the same the whole time except all the dates on the documents changed about a week and a half ago.
Do you think the “all tabs” people are deferrals?
And the “financial aid tabs only” people (plus the “no tabs” for those who didn’t apply for aid) are the acceptances and denials all mixed in together?
This makes sense to me and the numbers seem to match up.
yeah i think you might be right. A lot of ppl who are getting fin aid emails or date changes have just 2 tabs so it might mean acceptance or rejection for those people. Numbers also seem to match up, dartmouth defers around 30-40% ED applicants I think and from that poll yesterday around 40% people had all tabs
