Dartmouth Early Decision for Fall 2022 Admission

post deleted

Hey guys. I applied ED to Dartmouth and am starting to really stress! I am also in the middle of studying for final exams. Just checking in to wish everyone the best!

PS- Did anyone else’s portal change today? Mine went from showing all my info and the checklist to saying that they are almost done with the decision process and will email me 24 hours before ED is released. Any hunches on what date it will come out?

Same with us too. But there is no mention of 24 hrs in the message, here is an exact message we’ve - The Admissions Office is now in the final stages of the Early Decision application review process. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email notifying you of the date and time the decision on your candidacy will be available.

Same, any idea when the message will come? :exploding_head:

the trend for this year seems like decisions are coming way earlier than last year. I feel like dartmouth would also release their results early next week. does anyone know where to check when your financial aid documents were opened? or is there no way to check now since the checklist is gone from the application portal?

I’m stressing out a lot too! Wishing everyone great luck  I hope you can do things that you like before checking out the decision. I only remember that it was on a Wednesday last year, still no clue on the date and time this year.

We are in the end game now!

Daughter deferred. Perfect GPA and 1550 SAT. Coaches tag and brother (doing very well) at Dartmouth. Active in many extras. Excels I’m Debating.

What do you mean by coaches tag? Curious about coaches ability to help if you don’t have one of their slots.

Oh no! Must be very disappointing……

When the coach doesn’t have a recruiting slot for a. Athlete but offers to write a letter of recommendation/ speak with admissions.

I’m so sorry. I personally think that a sibling has a harder chance of getting in to any top school. All things considered, schools like diversity (ethnicity, geography, socioeconomic, type of high schools, gender identity, special circumstances, etc) and expanding the donor pool…accepting a sibling adds neither.
