Dartmouth or Brown?

I know these schools are vastly different, but I love both, each for their own reasons.

Right now, I just want to get into one of these, so which college do I have a better shot of getting into ED?

it depends…both have slighlty different criteria for their ideal student, assuming you already have the numbers and recommendations necessary

do you think of yourself as self-driven or quirky?

are you very outdoorsy or conservative?

go with your gut on the ed choice, apply to both through the rd round and then decide

How would we know? You provide no data. However, you can look at their data from last year and see which fits you better. dcircle gives you a way to start from the personality perspective.

Conservative lol? Where. I swear this stereotype of Dartmouth is ridiculous. In 1985 maybe. Not now. In a D poll almost 80% voted for Kerry in 2004, in 2000 it was 83% for Gore or Nadar.

true. but someone who holds their conservative politics dear will find a much broader community at dartmouth. there’s no equivalent of the dartmouth review at brown.
