I got accepted to Johns Hopkins and to Dartmouth and both of them have the same major I’m planning to major in, also I’m thinking about becoming a doctor, so I will be in the Pre-Med track. Which would you recommend more and why? Which one is the best in academics, cost, student life and overall satisfaction?

What’s your financial aid for each?

Is cost a factor?

It’s not a huge factor, but it will be better if it’s cheaper. My dad makes about 240K a year before taxes, almost a little but over half …180K after taxes.

Academics at both are outstanding. Net cost depends on your financial aid. The other items are personal preference.

With your dad’s income, you will likely receive zero aid at either school. Did you apply for aid? (They should have told you by now.)

yes, about 6,000 dlls for both of them

If you didn’t receive any FA, cost will be about the same.

Hopkins is VERY well known for pre-med but academically, they are peer schools.

Personally, I would choose Hopkins, but that’s only personal preference – choose whichever one you like best.
