Should we assume at this point the waitlist isn’t moving?

Haven’t heard anything- weird that they didn’t close the waitlist- right?
Also- I saw one vague report on college confidential about someone’s friend getting off the waitlist at Dartmouth but that’s all I’ve seen- anyone know anything more?
Do you think it’s more likely that they’re just going to barely take people and maybe they’re done already, or that they’re waiting and it’s later than usual because of fafsa delays (except other schools have already had waitlist movement happened already??).
I think as it gets later into May the likelihood gets smaller for movement-but I guess there’s still a chance until they close the waitlist
Has anyone talked to the Admissions rep perhaps for some more clarity?
I did and i she told me they dont know if they will be using it! Weird considering I’ve seen people get off the waitlist on reddit

So I saw that someone read someone got of the waitlist off of Reddit, but I can’t find that post anywhere. Would anyone mind posting a link to that thread?
It was super random so i have no idea where it was but it was basically saying that someone got off the Dartmouth waitlist at their school

Has there been anything? I called them and they said they have no information to give me - that they don’t know if they will go to the waitlist. But, how is that possible if their commit date was May 1?
It’s not just their commit date. As folks who committed at Dartmouth get WL offers from schools they prefer, they move on and create openings at Dartmouth. At many schools, this goes on for a good part of the summer. It’s called summer melt. Most schools plan for a certain amount, but if it’s more, they go to the WL.
And the reason they maintain a large WL is to have candidates who can then address the needs the departing students left. If they were all women, for example, that’s what they’ll take from the WL.
Not to discourage you, but trying to monitor the situation isn’t going to change anything, including what you know about what’s actually going on with enrollment.

Guys the sat and AP scores I had reported just went away from my portal. I think it’s over now?

same but i don’t think it means anything unless someone else has the scores still there
