Date Of Regular Decision

Does anyone know the actual date range of Regular Admission Notification at Northwestern? Thank you.

Yes. The site says April 15th…BUTTT, they told me differently when I went. THe dean of the music program said that anyone that applied to northwestern for ANY program should start checking late march.

The School of Music says regular decision acceptance will be mailed out on 04/01/07. I expect w/this being a Sunday that it will be mailed on 03/30/07 or 04/02/07. I understand that this information is available on-line shortly before.

Somehow being able to figure out online kills the excitement; it’s a relief, but it’s not as impactful (if you get in, at least).

believe me, having had to wait for my princeton ED decision to come in the mail, i’m SO HAPPY i can check all my regular decision stuff online. you will be glad that you dont have to wait by the mailbox for 2-3 days waiting and then being dissappointed that nothing came that day–makes it that much more stressful/agonizing. so yay to decisions being online!

especially for us internationals - accepted students get their letters through courrier service while rejected ppl get it through US post. So, once u hear that someone from some part of the world got his/her letter, u know that if u dont got ur letter in 1-2 days max, u are rejected too. But u still tend to wait for weeks until the final rejection letter comes!

Yeah absolutely! I cannot agree with you more.

i recently went to info session on campus at the admissions office and they said that although the site says April 15th, they will release decisions closer for april 1st
last year they released them online so we should be getting them online too

releasing online is great. Waiting for the mail is just too slow and stressful and especially for those who live out of the states. Nervous

any details on the exact date yet?
