I don’t know whether they are true or not, but the fact that people likely will read this and say to themselves “it probably is true” says a lot about just how much has happened with sexual assault that this could be believable. I would hope it is not true, one person using a date rape drug is bad enough, but if it was not only supplied by the frat but required to be used, that would be monstruous. This is from the St. Louis Post Dispatch about what is going on with the Fraternity in question, the frat was already under suspension for numerous incidents, including a racial one, illegal alcohol use and things like having pledges fight each other:

After reading this, if any fraternity was likely to do such a thing, this one may be it. As far as the national chapter saying the university told them they weren’t pursuing the date rape drug thing, I would take that with a grain of salt, after reading the full story. First of all, the University and the cops have not officially cleared them of that charge (if in fact it was myth, the university would be rushing to put a press release out saying it was untrue, given what a blot this is), it is also telling that there is still a Title IX investigation going on, which implies either this is true, or other incidents of sexual harassment and/or assault had happened.
