It seems men just slightly outweight women at this school. Which, is a surprise…a pleasant one since it is the other way around at a lot of schools. It is not uncommon for women to outweigh men by a very significant percentage making it a field day for the men on campus. So is the dating scene at Rutgers slightly in favor of women?

I don’t think it really matters if there are a few more women or men. There are 10’s of thousands of people there!

Well, it matters to me. Hence the question…

It really doesn’t matter if there are more girls or guys. It depends on who you are and if people find you interesting to date. Alot of students dont want to date they want to miggle and enjoy the college scene without being attached to anyone.

My point being: you will have no problems dating whether you are male or female. There are tons of people everywhere you look.

Tons!!!

I’m from California so I’m not sure if I grew up liking different types of girls vs the girls in jersey but there really arent that many good looking girls in my classes, science classes granted. Also there werent that many walking around either. I think I went on one date last semester, maybe I’m just picky. The girls seem to gravitate around the frat life from what I’ve experienced this past semester.

My son is from California as well, and sorry to say he felt the same way, but beauty isn’t everything! I have seen plenty of his Rutgers photos over the last two years that had in my opinion attractive girls; I am however not a guy and 20 something.

Interesting.

Yeah I’m from Cali too and the girls are ok, you will defiantly be able to find some good ones both in terms of beauty and personality. HOWEVER the guys are so dirty at RU, so just watch yourself if you go out.
