Why would anyone want to “play hard to get”??? What is the goal of doing this?? How would someone do this??

Playing hard to get can make a relationship more intriguing. It’s just acting coy.

But what if you’re not in a relationship yet and you just like someone? Would this be effective or just stupid since you’re ignoring them and putting more space between you and that person??

only play hard to get when you’re sure someone really likes you. otherwise, it’s pointless. either way it can potentially send the wrong signal.

It is like an art. The key is to let the person know that you are interested, yet to also play hard to get. The other person always knows, at least a little bit, that the other is interested.

What kind of stuff would ppl do when “playing hard to get”?

Just act coy.

like what?

Don’t you know what “coy” means?

ah, i wouldn’t attempt it if you’re not to experienced with playing hard to get. you have to be subtle and obvious at the same time. you have to confuse him enough to keep him intruiged but not enough for him to be turned off. only some girls can pull it off and only some guys like it. you gotta go figure out who you are and who he is.

Of course I know what coy means!! I want to know…you just act coy?? Well, ok–what kind of stuff would you do when acting coy???

how could i figure out who he is?

Act “flirtatiously shy or modest” (pulled from the dictionary definition).

If he is of the nervous, shy type, abort. Their kind cannot handle the pressure and will just think you don’t like them.

he’s not shy. he’s crazy in fact…

Crazy might not work, either…

what will it work on then?? what would work on a crazy dude??

I don’t know. Sorry. I am the antithesis of crazy.

oh, so you’re not crazy then? well, ok…i see…

i’m CRAZSYUSYSYYYYYYYYYYY!!!1
