What are my chances? 4.0 UW (4.55 W), 1560 SAT, will have 11 APs (all 5s so far), year round swimmer and work PT year round, several literary awards, would be 4th generation from family to attend (though they say they don’t consider legacy).
Based on the info you’ve presented, you should have a very good chance of admittance especially if you applied ED. In fact, I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. I’m not quite sure I believe Davidson when they say they don’t consider legacy…from my kid’s experience, there are many students there with either siblings or parents that attended. Davidson does consider demonstrated interest so if a Davidson admissions rep visits your HS, you should definitely attend the meeting and speak with them. And I wouldn’t make it a secret that you’d be the 4th generation in your family to attend
