<p>Just heard that the #1 at our competitve HS was waitlisted at Davidson and another at a private was denied at Davidson-semi- NMF and top soccer player-not sure of all details but have heard that many in top of class did not get in where they wanted and they had great stats-</p>
<p>I wonder if schools are reacting to the fact that many kids are now applying to 10+ schools by denying highly qualified candidates that haven’t shown real strong interest in their school. I can’t blame them for doing that. Probably part of reason for longer and longer wait lists as well.</p>
<p>Davidson regular admissions were brutal this year. Lots of stellar scholars wait listed.</p>
