A few of my friends decided to give it a try this year. It’s not super hard to get accepted to the program - grades don’t count; it’s pretty much all based on essays. The extra work is a bit much, but it’s geared to be very beneficial. In the end, I decided not to participate - there’s plenty of other ways to pick up some valuable experience - but I don’t know anyone that’s againist the program.

Beginning next year, I hear those who participate in the program will get priority registration. Of course, the trade off to that is taking pointless seminars and classes (IMO of course). Priority registration hasn’t helped me that much so far, maybe just better class times. I have regents btw.
