Daylight Saving Time

Just a friendly reminder that next Sunday, March 10th starts Daylight Savings Time. I really miss that hour!!

Yah!!!

Killjoy.

I have a business trip coming up… with meetings starting at 8 am Eastern. Meaning 4 am our recent time!!!

Yay!!

Yep…and we are away this weekend, driving back Sunday. Luckily…we don’t have any time constraints.

Really…am I the only one who wishes they would just leave this time thing at Daylight Saving….like they did during the energy shortage in the I think late 70’s?

I always hope my calendar times will auto-correct because I find the time switches tedious, as HI doesn’t adjust its clocks.

I have jury duty 1st thing that Monday morning :sob:

Okay I’ll take the fall and be the “well actually” guy. Daylight saving not daylight savings. I’ll show myself out.

My 2nd favorite day of the year!

It means the traffic light I go through at 6:30 am to get to the gym will be blinking red now, yay, instead of red or green. I hate sitting at that light in the winter when there’s very little traffic.

Ok…I fixed the thread title to Daylight Saving…and edited my own post.

I’m going from the west coast to the east coast on the first flight out (6am) just after the time change. Ouch!

I miss the hour of sleep I lose for the first few days, but love the longer days. I REALLY hate the change in the fall when it gets dark so early. I wish we would stop switching. Would prefer DST all year long, but could live with us just picking one and sticking with it.

I do not like the spring change, takes me a good week to recover. No problem in the fall, but I would like to just pick one and never have to change again.

Yes, it’s hard on those of us without DST to remember how many hours difference there is as it changes when DST is on or off. Please pick a side!

I don’t drive much, but I really do need to change that dash clock. Luckily it is a 2006, and I’ve now done it so many times that I no longer need to drag out the owner’s manual.
