Days at Home

I am a rising high school sophomore, and am starting to feel lazy. I am aspiring to play baseball in the Ivy League, and need to start rounding out the EC part of my application. I finished this year with a 94.071 at one of the most challenging schools in the country (ranked by US News). I am active in three clubs, but I have nothing to show off other than that. My team has games roughly three times a week, and I am starting to find myself lying on the couch all day because the games are at night.

My question is basically, what can I do to put on my college application this summer?

How about looking for a local volunteer opportunity a few days a week for the rest of the summer? Pick something you are interested on and can build on for the next few summers, too (either with the same organization or in the same area of interest).

You could coach baseball kids.
