De Neve Residential Halls?

<p>So I got my housing assignment in De Neve Residence Hall, which I’m assuming is one of the new residential halls Gardenia and Holly.</p>

<p>Will that affect socialization at all? Like will the returning students cluster together and barely talk to the first years? Will there be other first years on my floor?</p>

<p>It might. A lot of returning students move out of the dorms, some have an attachment to other buildings. But there may be clusters of older students as you imagine. I doubt that you’ll be the only first year. Making friends and talking to others on the floor ultimately depends on how friendly you are. Plenty of older students would love to be friends with first years, but just not the annoying ones… You’ll probably be fine :)</p>
