<p>It would hurt ALOT. If a college gives you an essay limitation, you should really never go over 110/115% of the limit. An 823 essay would start out with a really bad impression.</p>

<p>wow, I was in your shoes in the EA round. You won’t believe it but my essay was like 900ish words. See, I got deferred. I guess what we should do is pick out something to put in the supp essay(s), or you’ll be talking too much on the common one and dry up when it comes to supp.</p>
