<p>I was planning on applying early decision to JH (deadline’s nov 1), but they highly recommend 3 sat subject tests and the deadline for october registration has already passed. i could apply early without any subject tests or apply regular decision with the subject tests. what do i do? please reply soon, </p>

<p>The advantage to applying ED is that you show the school you’re really interested in attending; not having something they highly recommend in your application is going to cancel that out quite a bit. I would say apply regular decision with the subject tests.</p>
<p>You can just show up at the SAT test site and register Stand-by. The October date is usually pretty light, so I would guess that you will still be able to get a seat, even at this late date.</p>
