Dealing with Child's College Rejection - Article

<p>I just read this and thought it was a really good way to put the rejection in perspective. Wish I had this to show my daughter years ago when she was rejected from her first choice (ED) school. </p>

<p>Very good advice in the article. I think the rejection from colleges is the first time most kids have this experience without the opportunity for feedback. When they fail at something in school or sports, they can usually get information about what they did wrong, or how they missed the mark from their teachers. They also have some recourse to complain. In the college situation, it’s a complete unknown. Sort of like job interviews.</p>
