Dealing with rejection?

I got rejected from my top choice, SUNY-ESF. I got guaranteed transfer and called immediately. He said I could go to SUNY-Oswego for a year then transfer. So I should be all set. I’m still very depressed and worried about it working out. My grades are dropping in school because I’ve been so discouraged and I have a busy schedule with work and volunteering etc. I can’t eat or focus and the only time I’m okay is when I’m distracted by keeping myself busy like being with friends or reading a book. Any help or suggestions?!

see a therapist. college should not debilitate your lifestyle.

You will be fine. Colleges get so many qualified applicants (including you) and they have to make extremely tough decisions every year. Besides, you got a transfer guarantee, so why are you so depressed? Everything will work out :).
