Dealing with stress?

Anyone else ran into problems with stress?

It was better when I was just focusing on school but I’ve been worried about money so I started working from home online so more of my time has been focused and I was a little relieved to be making good money to help with bills but I just don’t have the time I used to have.

I can’t actually believe how much trouble it can cause. Working a lot doesn’t ever really bother me but I’ll just wake up in the middle of the night with insane stomach cramps and pains and panic attacks. It’s better now and I’m on medication.

Anyone else been in the same situation?

To a degree. When Bush was re-elected, I went nuts for some time.

Do you work out at all? Do anything socially over the course of the week?

I’ve noticed I get stressed out where there is an imbalance in regards to my life. Friends, work, school, health, etc.

Figure out what your obligations are and things that will counter your obligations. School is an obligation, socializing will equal it and so forth.

Yeah, try socializing and/or working out a few times a week. It really helps. I always have a lot of homework and I’m usually really stressed, but I find that going to the gym for 1-2 hours every other day helps a lot.

Not even 1-2 hours at a time, but you can concentrate it into 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes towards the evening. Slowly you’ll make your way up.

In all honesty, to throw off my lazy mentality, I convinced myself I would run straight for 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes was up and the watch beeped, it was “over”. Of course I had to get him, and running was the fastest alternative.

I’ve always been a really relaxed, unstressed person. The best thing to deal with stress is to take time for yourself sometimes. Even if you don’t think you have time, take some time to talk to your friends, get your nails done, or something every now and then.

Try not to procrastinate on anything and schedule things before you do them.

I ditto the working out stuff. Whenever I feel a little stressed I go for a walk. Not even a long one, maybe half an hour to an hour, and I’ll feel more ready to deal with things.
