Dealing with the emotional roller coaster

Look at the bright side - At least you know how she feels! (Is that bright???, I don’t know, but, anyway, let’s pretend.)

With the boys - well, you can SENSE that they’re lonely and disoriented, but you are never really sure. And, there’s never a chance to really discuss it (and us moms LIKE to discuss!!!).

It’s tough on parents. We question why our kids so far away, why no one is being nice to them (even if everyone is being nice), and all our own self doubts.

Just remember when they were little and think, “This too shall pass.” And too quickly, of course.

For some young women, this may be a good idea. Not for others.

My daughter would sooner have a root canal on every tooth in her mouth than go through sorority rush.

I think decisions about whether or not to participate in rush really should be made by the student.
