Hey all,
I found this video on youtube (an interview of the dean of admissions about how to get into Stanford): [Stanford–What factors affect decision beyond academic measures - YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UYhTylqC9o&feature=related) What do y’all think about the balance between Academics and E.C.'s? Does 1 or 2 more AP’s or a slightly lower/higher GPA really not make a difference? Because I have also heard that students are supposed to take the most rigorous schedule possible. Any thoughts?

It is certainly not the end-all-be-all of the admission process, however, it wouldn’t hurt to have a couple more AP courses and a higher gpa. That is assuming that one gets that far in the admissions process.
