Well, my cousin ended up being offered this scholarship (according to his phone call with the admissions/financial aid office). However, he never officially got the letter because his parents had accidentally thrown it away. Is there anything he should know about the scholarship? Does he need to submit a midyear report? what does the letter actually say?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If he got the scholarship, then he has been admitted which means he won’t need to submit a midyear report. However, that does not mean USC won’t still see his 2nd semester grades should he choose to matriculate there. As long as he doesn’t fail anything, he should be fine.

As for information he might need, I’m not sure because I didn’t get the Dean’s. But on my scholarship letter it really didn’t tell me anything essential to know. Have him call the admissions office and ask if they will email or mail him another one after having explained the situation.

Did he call and ask about Dean’s scholarship? When did he find out? What did his online status say?
