Dean's Statement

I apologize for sounding like such a novice, but I am attempting to transfer from UNC-Chapel Hill to Wake Forest and they would like a Dean’s Statement and my transcript. How do I obtain these things from the University? Do I need to call the registrar’s office, or do I need to track down the Dean myself? I am getting ready to fly back to Charleston for spring break, and I want to get my application sent off/complete before the end of break. I don’t really know who to ask around here.

Go to the Wakeforest admission website for transfers. You should be able to download and print out the deans statement request form as well as the transcript request form. Take them to the appropriate offices at UNC. the Deans Statement is just a perfunctory form that says in essence- you are a student in good standing, etc. Either the Dean or someone in his office can sign it.
