<p>I don’t think you’d experience anything like what that other student is describing at W&M. W&M actively promotes and supports diversity. Hxhsux is right in that bad things happen everywhere but W&M students are very much engaged in cross-cultural conversation and learning and really enjoy learning from each other. In the W&M admission office we have several staff who are alumns some of who are African-American and some of whom are Jewish (not a racial minority but a religious one) and all of them would tell you they felt accepted and welcome at W&M.</p>
