Death by IB

Anyone else plan on studying for this SAT next week, only to be absolutely destroyed in school? My teachers have been ridiculous lately. I haven’t cracked open a single test book.

I’m worried that my score is going to drop from December, where I studied intensely for a month and got a 2230. I got a 36 on my ACT, but some schools I’m applying to want the SAT IIs as well, meaning my SAT I scores will also go to them. A lower score on my SAT would in all likelihood look very bad.

I just want to not even show up.

If you got a 2230 in December, you probably remember a lot of the stuff from before. If your score goes down, keep in mind that colleges generally look at the highest scores anyway. It won’t look really bad. Stop worrying and do your best, and keep in mind that you can always retake it. What’s there to worry about?

I’m in IB too. There is something about this week…I HAVE NO FREE TIME TO STUDY EITHER!! I wish IB was never created. haha. When I tell my teachers to wait to assign a huge assignment/test till next week because “I’m taking the SAT” they just look at me like “So?”. :(
