Death of a Student

<p>I was very sad to see the news that Morgan Judd, a freshman on the dance team, died today. Apparently she suffered a brain aneurysm in recent days. From the WFU Office of Academic Advising:

<p>It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Morgan Judd. Morgan, a first-year Wake Forest student and a member of the dance team, died today after a brief illness.

The Counseling Center staff and campus ministers will be available to offer support to all in need from 2-3 p.m. today in room 301 of the Benson Center.</p>

<p>Tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. faculty, staff and students are invited to gather in room 409 of the Benson Center to join in a “Circle of Friends for Morgan.”</p>

<p>On Friday from 4-8 p.m., the family will accept visitors at the Ursuline Academy, 5535 Pfeiffer Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.</p>

<p>A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hyde Park, 2853 Erie Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45208.</p>

<p>Wake Forest will hold a memorial service for Morgan at the start of the spring semester. Details will be shared when available.

<p>This is just so sad, took my breath away as my DD is a freshman dance major. How tragic for the family.</p>

<p>My daughter attended high school with Morgan - truly a beautiful girl inside and out. Her friends from Ursuline (all girl school) are devastated, as I am sure the students at Wake must be as well. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers, especially her twin brother.</p>
