<p>University of Michigan’s debate team is highly competitive, if not one of the most competitive teams in the nation. They are currently ranked in the top 5 in the country due to Mich AP. Nevertheless, DEBATE IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. It involves talking at hyper fast speed and thinking on your feet like you have never done before. I would seriously look into what college debate is like before looking to join the team. Debate is really fun though. </p>
