I am a second semester freshman at NC state majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
After viewing the curriculum, i saw that it did not have almost any premed courses. However, at UNC, they have Exercise and Sports science (EXSS), a good major in prep for med school. Although Engineering is the hardest major in the Engineering fields and i know it will drop my GPA, it is also a unique major for applying to med school with. But I believe (EXSS) is better because it will provide a more indepth view on the sciences. What are the pros and cons of both majors when applying to med school. And which one is preferred? THANKS for any HELP!!

med schools could care less what you major in
