<p>Anyone remember this math question:</p>
<p>Gave you some measurement for X (it was somewhere in a bottom triangle that was isosceles, I think). Had 2 squares and like 3 equilateral triangles all bunched up together and it said all the sides measured 6. And it asked for the base of the 1 triangle with X.</p>
<p>The answer is 6sqrt(2). You know two sides of the triangle are 6 and that it’s a right triangle so by the 45-45-90 rule, the other side is 6sqrt(2)</p>
<p>That’s a few pages back. The answer is 6sqrt(3), not 6sqrt(2). If you did the math, you saw that the base was the longer leg of two congruent 30-60-90 right triangles, not 45-45-90.</p>

like with CR it’s weird because theres not a definitive answer, and i can see both my argument and other peoples’ arguments for certain questions.</p>
<p>drakorising - You two are talking about two different versions of a problem. My test had your problem and I agree it was 6 sqrt 2 ( it was probably an E difficulty). But for the other people they had what looked like a H version of the problem and answer was 6 sqrt 3.</p>
<p>I’m with mc does. I had that one as well. I’m pretty sure CB makes some questions eerily similar just so we can argue forever.</p>
