Dec 1st CR Version II (Brain functions, photography, father artist...) Discussion

@thenerdyjew
I got 3000. Was this right?

5/3t - 20/3 and 64%

@caLLM3KoB3 i worked it out to 2,000

It is 2000. was #15. 11? (B)
the one where 9r^2 - t^2 = 17 and find r+t as i recall

i had 4 math sections…do you think section 3 or 7 were the experimental??

@albert, yes i got 11, because t^2 has to be 64 (to give you 81, which can be square-rooted). So t = 8 and r = 3 which means the sum is 11.

my readings were disney, photography, brain stuff, and egyptian boy / nature. is disney experimental?

its not horror. its using her own style to do something else (movie critics)
wat about the writing section one where it was something “book adapted to a movie” was that correct?

the analogy was about writing a review about something and then writing a review about something else. she’s doing the same thing in both cases (taking pictures and writing reviews) and doing it with the same technique, just to different subjects

Disney was experimental. I had all other passages you did…

@Nibblin
What was ur writing on? The passage was on time or art/taste…

FOR THE DUAL PASSAGE WITH NATURE; WHAT WAS THE ANSWER WITH HIS FINGERS BEING STUCK TOGETHER OR SOMETHING? Was it a play on words?

My passage was on time phases and changes.
On that section, did anyone get two straight E’s for 28 and 29?

@teeheelol i believe so.
what about the one on writing about books (A) reportedly being adapted into novels? Was that no error?

i thought the fingers was a humor, i kind of laughed when i read it myself.

How many marbles were left in the jar that aren’t blue? or something like that - for math.
Area of the box with a semi-circle?

@zfrosting do you remember the exact math question? and also the area of the rectangle was 32

i got 32 for the box w/ semi circle, i dont remember the blue marbles question.

It was: 200 (or some other number) of marbles in a jar and 50 of them were different. If you took out 30…
^something along those lines.

And yeah, I got 32 as well.

the answer was 132 or something. Also, what was the asnwer to the first 3 fill ins to math? and can anyoen remember the questions they were?

The fingers being glued together was a reference to that being mentioned previously in the paragraph. Essentially, the passage went like:
“this philosopher said ‘if you life in nature you can feel yourself converging with nature.’ Well the only thing I felt converging was my fingers into ice.”
Clearly a re-reference.
