That hurt.

I need to take my subject test in jan. so this is it for me. I improved my superscore 30 points so it is 2210 now. (730, 750, 730)

those other two really sting, I felt much better about them than the other two times, although I kind of expected to get a lower score on the essay (8).

I wish I could just retake the math section. Unfortunately, out of 3 tests, this was my last chance to get my score up on that section for UC (I applied for 5 UC’s for fall term and they don’t accept any SAT scores past December.)

CR 720
M 800
W 800 (79, 10)
2320, superscore 2360 (CR 760 from October)
Glad to be done with that for good.

CR 610
M 670
W 610
Do you think I have shot at top National Liberal Arts College

I have not received my score. How do I know if it was delayed ?

I am still “available soon”…

I think that is the reason why I did not receive it

Same story Draconian . Do you think you had a dramatic increase ?

I believe that I have the most wasted math and writing score…WHAT THE HECK CRITICAL READING?!

CR 650
M 770
W 800 (76, 11)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME

Took it in November and now December, same exact score down to the number. Feeling kind of frustrated.
770 math
740 cr
739 writing
Grand total 2240
What do you think guys do I retake for top liberal arts and possibly ivy dreams?

Critical Reading- 790
Math-800
Writing- 800 (MC 80 Essay 12)

I am happy with my scores, but at the same time it’s kind of frustrating…I worked so hard for that 2400, but I guess life goes on.

I know that everything above a 2340 [or for some great universities, anything above a 2300] is the same as a 2400.
In October, I missed one or two in each section, but I thank my lucky stars that this time I got a 2400 :’)
Cr: 800
M: 800
w: Essay:11 and 76 (so lucky I can’t believe)
I can’t believe it. Good luck you all- I understand the frustration- I was there, but there is no difference.
Enjoy the rest of your year :D!

CR: 770 (I know I should have answered those 2 questions -_-)
Math: 790 (Again a matter of 1 question)
Writing: 660 (65MC, 9 Essay)
Grand total :2220
How will universities look at my writing score ?
I studied for writing more than anything. I’m so angry right now. I could have easily gotten a 2300 if my writing was a little higher. I’m so frustrated !!!

writing is the least important but it is still important. it’s better to do what you’ve done than swap the CR and writing scores.

but it will reduce your chances a bit depending on the college. it’s pretty good for most outside the top 10

@pHyRe7
The top 10 include the ivy league and?

@darksouls

oh you know the usual, MIT, stanford, etc. etc. i’m not gonna debate over it as it is arbitrary and varies by degree. i was just saying its a good score unless its a top school

@pHyRe7
So I lost my chances at those schools because of my writing score? :(

My scores aren’t in yet either, what the heck is going on!!!

definitely not.

you can get into any school with 2220. 2255 is the average at harvard for ACCEPTED freshman. but having below 2250 will mean youre essays and ECs have to be above average
