@ReadyToRoll I got 16/17 subscores on English and got a 34 for the section.
OMG,
My ACT scores came in today along with the essay score. You guys will never believe what happened.
I made a College-Confidential account just for this.
The ACT organization itself sent me a letter saying something along the lines of:
You have received a perfect score on the ACT without getting anything wrong.
12 on the essay.
36 in everything else.
Additionally, the organization offered me a small scholarship for any college I get admitted into for having such a well-done essay; the letter stated that my essay was worthy for noblemen hahaha
I was so elated… I literally fell as soon as I read the letter…
But still it was kind of weird that they sent me a letter instead of an email or something… letters are more formal I guess.
I also never knew organizations like Collegeboard or ACT could offer scholarships…
Has any international got their scores yet ?? ACT just posted on twiter that they released scores on Tuesday so next release would now come out on friday !!

@ACTScholarBoy I’ve never heard of ACT doing this, and if the organization did offer bonuses for a perfect score, I would have been able find, at the very least, an article or blog about it.
The thing is, I would have to image that roughly 100 test takers each year do not answer any questions incorrectly. Do you have a picture of the letter…?

Very frustrating that my score did not come out yesterday… Apparently the next time they can come out is this Wednesday followed by Friday
Almost the same number of people give the ACT as the SAT, still Collegeboard is a LOT better with scores
I agree, Collegeboard is much more effective. It bothers me that students who took the ACT at a test site less than 30miles away from mine got their scores a week ago.
Some scores should be released this Friday.

I actually got my scores back Tuesday morning and they were not supposed to come out until today. I think they are actually posting them every morning so keep checking guys!
@1golfer1 - seems weird, doesn’t it? I can’t figure out how it works, since your subscores add up to 33 and you got a 34, and D’s subscores add up to 36 and she got a 35.
I got my essay score this morning. But I got my composite back the first day they released scores so idk.
Kind of irritated, I got a 33 on English but ended up with a 32 English/Writing because I made a 10 on my essay xD oh well I’m still happy!
Subscores are not related to your overall score in any arithmetical manner. You cannot derive one directly from the other.
@ReadyToRoll @1golfer1 - Perhaps you aren’t taking into account that the ACT provides you with an English/Writing score. Here is how the ACT puts it- http://www.actstudent.org/writing/combined.html.
So, you could have a 36 English score and have a 35 English/Writing score (assuming that you got a 35 English/Writing score).
I am a US citizen living abroad, so I have yet to receive my scores. Here is what I hope to get:
C- 32/33 (My main goal is to get it up to a 35+)
English- 34/35 (My essay was not the best, so my score might decrease)
Math- 28/30 (I skipped quite a few questions… Normally I get a 36, but this test’s math was way to difficult)
Reading- 32/33 (due to time constraints I skimmed through the last passage and quickly answered the questions. Guessed on quite a few qs)
Science- 35 (It went very well)
Anyway, I am a junior (with IVY league uni dreams) and I have quite a bit time to improve. I will begin doing so as soon as I get my scores back…
