December 2014 ACT Discussion Thread

@IamStruggling‌ Yeah I got a 35 last 2 times so it was nice. Keep struggling

I just checked my score.
C 30
E 35
M 33
R 28
S 25
W 8

How can I improve this score to get at least a 34 ?
This was my second time taking the ACT. When I took it in April I got a 29.

My status has changed from “registered” to “tested.” Still no scores though.

Under the December test option the “View/Print Ticket” option is gone. Should I be expecting my scores today?
Has this happened with someone else here or should I contact ACT and ask them what’s up?

It still shows registered btw

That’s exactly what happened to me. It doesn’t actually say “tested” but since it no longer gives me the option to print my ticket I assumed that they at least recognized that I had tested. I’m not sure what it means, but you’re not alone.

SAMEEE! Print ticket option disappeared.
It gave me a mini heart attack.
We’re in this together :smile:

Me too guys but still Registered !

Does this mean anything? (The disappearance of the view/print ticket button)

I hope it means that they finally acknowledged that we’ve attended the exam we booked and out answer sheets are next in line to be scored.

I gave ACT is September and nothing like this happened. One day all three options were there, the next day I got my scores.

Let’s see what happens this Wednesday

It seems that ACT wanna play with us.

I doubt they’ll post anything today or tomorrow because the office is closed (office was closed Friday too, which is why no scores were posted).

Yeah, I feel like I’m the only one still “registered.” How much longer could this take?

@Lindsay113‌ even I haven’t got any scores…where does it show "registered "?

I got a 36 on the test, from a 35 English, 35 Math, 36 Reading, and 36 science breakdown, with a 10 on the essay

It looks like I’m having the same questions as @ReadyToRoll‌.

Does anyone know more about the score breakdown? The score report says that the highest grade on a subscore is 18, so I would assume that getting 18 on both subscores of the English would be a 36 on the section. However, although I got an 18 in both subsections, I had a 35 section score on the English.

If the subscores are both scaled so that max-1=18, and the main score is scaled so that max-2=35, you’d get the results you’re seeing. The main score isn’t derived from the scaled subscores, but from the overall raw score.

@MLStudent‌ great scores :open_mouth: did you get your results today morning?

@allyphoe‌ thanks for the info
@iliveinmumbai‌ hey thanks. I recieved my scores on Jan 1, it’s just that I wasn’t going to post, but I had a question about my score and I thought I would post them anyway.

Will any scores be availabe tonight?

@Chauncer‌ yeah I think so.

Did anyone receive their scores today/tonight?
