December 2014 Chemistry SAT Subject Test

@moscow997‌ I did not get that. I think it was _F. Because a 3d cannot have a lower energy than a lower orbital.

@hendersonHYPS I’m talking about the diatomic gases question…

for the orbitals one i think i got F,F…right?

Did anyone have trouble with particular problems?

west coast finished

thanks, @eddstah‌ What did you think? harder than expected?

what was the gas that cannot be collected or something like that? i think the choices were co2, ch4, o2, nh3, h2? im worrying because i dont remember which one i put down ==

I think nh3. Nh3 would react with water.

I only got 2 T,T,CE answers, but I omitted the diatomic molecule one, I think.

Does anyone remember any questions we all can discuss?

@omarhaider‌ I got 4 TT CE…2 of them were consecutive and the last two, i thought, was also TTCE. the diatomic molecule was TF, i think

No

Do you remember which ones were T,T, CE? I remember the last one was, and question 102 or 103 was.

@omarhaider‌ I don’t remember. The diatomic one is not true because Iodine is diatomic and it is not a gas at STP.

@hendersonHYPS‌ Oh yes, I remember that question! It was T, F for that definitely, that’s what I put. If anyone remembers any questions, post them here!

Does anyone remember the question where I) two different elements combine are usually polar BECAUSE II)different electronegativities? I put T,T,CE but I’m not quite sure about the CE part.

@wldb15 yes i put T,T,CE for that one

and the one with the equilibrium concentration vs time graph… is it 10 or 20 or?

@yhhswds what was the question exactly?
