Science was terrible
Anyone have any trouble with the reading? I feel like that was my worst out of any of them.
I was really pressed for time in the last section. I kept the social sciences for last pretty much guessed on 4 of those. It wasn’t the hardest for me but def second hardest.

So I, and many others, took the ACT today. Most colleges say that for Regular decision, the December ACT date is the latest date they accept. However, deadlines are January 1st. If the test was on 12th, and it takes 5 weeks to get the score report, then that means colleges wouldn’t get the score until mid January. Does this mean you can submit your application before January, and simply send the ACT scores when they become available?
I have another ACT I can send (31) but I am sure I did better on this one, so could I also just send the 31 and send the higher one when it becomes available, hoping that they take it into consideration?

i was on “standby” but I was pretty sure I was going to take it.
I have a 33 composite from before and I get 32-33 on Science.
If I got 33 in English and 35 in Math and 30 in reading, is there any way I couldve gotten 32?
I didnt take becasue I felt that I couldnt beat my 33, and judging from other people’s responses, I might not have.
Some one back me up. I took the September and October tests so we can compare?
My son took test today (Dec 12 2015) and he felt science section was hard. He used to score very well in practice tests provided by ACT. Hope ACT keeps it fair.

@cappex Scores come out in approximately 10 days. They say to check back in 10 days and your score will most likely be posted, however, occasionally they may come back later but usually 2-3 weeks at the latest. The full report of your test will come back in 5-8 weeks but you don’t need to send that to the colleges.
Frick… The reading section was brutal. The last time I took the ACT, I finished with 5 minutes to go. And today I blindly guessed on a whole passage!!! My composite is ruined!!! cry cry cry
I didn’t take today, but everyone from my school that took it keeps talking about how brutal math was. They said science was tough but nothing like math. They loved the essay.
Since this test tended to be really tough on science, does that mean anything about February’s level of difficulty or not?
I hate physics science passages. So much prior info required.
English was harder than usual (1 min left, had to guess on 1)
math was extremely easy (10 mins left)
Reading was easy (5 mins left)
Science…(4 guessed)

Can anyone please tell me this … I put small marks besides the question numbers of questions that i had a doubt on. And i forgot to erase the marks for the maths section. Will this effect my score ? They were small dashes besides the question number. PLEASSE HELP !!
