***December 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

@loquatical i dont think so, but im not an expert

@loquatical i dont think so because -3 would have a guessing penalty so its -4 and the best curve would put that at 73 MC

Good luck everyone

@facsimilecoterie Maybe cb had two experimentals? I definitely remember nothing about planes in the experimental one that I got. There were a lot of charts.

@loquatical no; the most lenient for -3mc, 12e=780. It can also be as low as 740.

Oh I meant -2 and one omit because I can do math.

Thought so, thats why i think that this test won’t have a better curve, despite all the debate.

@loquatical then you can score as high as 790, but not 800.

@thetex, got it. We can only hope now.

Also @krauser126 why the “good luck”?

You guys are grossly overexamining that “compared to” part. This was also prevalent in the October SAT, when I thought that “contrasts to” was wrong as I believed it should have been “contrasts with”. I learned my lesson; don’t overanalyze and pick errors out of nothing.

@loquatical Good luck on achieving desired scores

@krauser126 good luck to you too then.

there’s really no point to stressing out any more; what’s done is done.

for those of you who consistently get high 700’s and 800’s in CR, what is your passage strategy???

Please… Someone with 800 CR…HOW DO YOU DO THE PASSAGES???

Lol anyone here with a past 800 or 750+ on CR??

@uhhhhhhhhhh yup it was 2 bc there up to 5 possible choices…not including 0 …but 3 of them contained non- integers or .5 …leaving only 2 possible choices

For the math about spinning and getting a number from 6 numbers, is it fine if I put .833 instead of 5/6 ?

that works @hiDreamer

@axton900
Are you sure? Then yeees!

do not ask for google docs. it is permanently deleted.

cr: dont read the passage. Do the line reference questions without reading the passage. Look +/-5 lines from the line reference. If an answer to one of those questions mentions something earlier, then read earlier. After doing these questions, you get a feel of the passage. Now read/skim the passage. Now do the main idea/ primary questions.
