***December 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

Guys how is colorado NE. I am so positive the error was “offered by” that I can’t fathom why it wouldn’t be wrong. The parks themselves can’t offer anything, but it can be offered at the parks.

@ratclown offered by and offered at are lateral shifts, the difference is just splitting hairs, it’s not an SAT grammar concept.

@mochilate1897 Tbh I am just going to drop this issue, I could argue forever and both of us have compelling arguments soo… ya

we’ll all find out in 16 days

You are all overthinking the problem about the haiku. The line that the actual question is a quote from the girl in which it is implied that she is trying to translate something or pass on some sort of message. Hence I think it may be “trying to connect with her mother”

@ratclown Don’t worry your not alone, I put error for that as well. I don’t get how a park can offer something either. It should be offered at or offered in, I’m pretty sure.

@Sherlincapt Thanks man its really reassuring that there are others that see my point. We may never find out though since we don’t know which exact questions we got wrong.

Lmao guys you are OVERANALYZING the writing section. If it sounds just right in your head, it’s probably just fine!!!

I’ll use my strategy once again of plugging in some more common terms to make it make more sense to you guys for the parks one.

Does this sound right to you? “The amenities offered by the hotel were amazing.”

What did you guys get for the question about parcels? It was in the passage about trains and technology reducing travel time or whatever. I put something with metaphor in it.

@bobthebuilder123 using the metaphor in a modern context? that’s what I got

@joeweller

Yeah, that’s what I got too.

question about the “lofty” peak?

was it haughty, superior, high, etc…?

did anyone else get the detest and dispense one for the vocab question that was like “Although he never hesistated to __________ personal invectives, he so ______________ criticism that he avoided arguments with his friends?”

@Crzcorgi High.

@Wqqqqqq2342 I didn’t get that, but I don’t remember what I had.

Did any of you have a writing experimental section?

@Walaoeh I overanalyzed that and put superior… oh whale. I definitely knew what it was saying though

@Crzcorgi bruh i used be just like that. once you take enough tests, you realize exactly what the question is asking for bruh

@joeweller that was a little condescending
