December SAT: Math

THANK YOU ANDREAAAAA! xoxo

that mightve been experimentall… cuz i defintely did not have that question

If the angle is 120, then it is 1/3 of the circumfrerence, since there is 360 degrees in a circle. The radius was 3, so the circumfrence was 2 pir, or 6 pi. 1/3 of the circumfrence was 2 pi

Skater Girl, I don’t remember that question.

andreaa… for the 1st question… 36 is correct… at first… i was searching for 16… but then i realized i could try negative numbers…a nd i got 36…

how is it 7/30?

I thought you move 0.7!

2 was the median of like 70 integers and you had to find the smallest possible sum?

sory I got that one wrong, but maybe it’s 113

anyone remember what the .3 box p/t question was? and also the answer choices…

so if the radius was three one the 120 one:

the circumference of the entire circle (360 degrees) = 6 pi.

120 is (1/3) of 360. 6 pi divided by three = 2 pi.

the answer is 2 pi.

looks like im not doing as bad as i thuoght. maybe theres hope for me in this world.

“if the central angle = 120 degrees… the length of the arc equals the same!!!”

Sorry I Don’t really get this. Length of Arc= Circumference of the circle / (360/the degree of the arc)
It’s just proportional. Did you try to draw an arc with 120 degree. Isn’t it 1/3 the circle circumference?

jsmith, can you explain the 36 one?

did anybody get the barrels one? or the equalize one? (

You move .35 from the first to second barrel

wow… seriously andreaaaa… thats gay… thats 2 mistakes and 1 omit… i was going for perfect! god damn!

It is 1/3 the circumference (120 deg)(360 deg)

@Keane Fan: There’s hope to all of us my friend

@jsmith: I think i did as bad as you and I was going for 800 too:(

llewis999… it said… (x-3)^2 = 25… the two numbers u could try are 8 and -2…

it asked for (x-4)^2… and what does it equal… i tried using 8… but the answer was 16 and it wasnt in the answer choices… so i used (-2)… and i got (-6)^2… which = 36!

hope that helps

why .35 ???

I thought it would be 0.8 or 0.7?
