Can one of u math geniuses do a cumulative of what u believe ur answers to be

also there was one about where is the mode lower than the average. it was an mc on the section not with the grid ins, i think.

what was the one with the random numbers, like 1< 10y< 38.6 and 3<2z<5432758934 or whatever they were. i think the question asked what could be the largest value of x when xyz = 80.

i think that one was a grid in. what was the answer? i got 1600.

I know this is a stupid question but was the pot and picture frame question answer 1 dollar?

@jsmith: I got 24…

andreeaaaa… thats correct… i got 1600 too!

1600 is the answer andreaaaaaaa

@andreaaaaa:me too.

24 is not even a perfect square… how did u arrive at that?

whoooooo good. i was afraid of missing that one.

10/3, anybody?

Thats jsmith, I remember it exactly now. Thanks.

i got 3.33 as that one answer where y is 1 more than x… but i might have absentmindedly bubbled in 1.33 …please god.

well, the problem was (x-3)^2 =25, i think.

and so x2-6x+9=25 , subtract and you get x2-6x-16, I think.

then I arrived at 24 for the second equation… which I don’t remember.

but likely I did something wrong.

one of my experience in doing grin=in question. Always put in the fraction lest it doesn’t fit.

yeah i got 36. i am almost certain that was right.

ooooooh… thats not good keanefan

It’s 36. Some advice to all: Buy a TI-89.

It can solve any equation you put into it. For the 36 one, I just had to type it in (takes 5 sec), use the values of x given (8, -2) then I do those calculations.

what other ones can we hit.

ahh… darn.

it makes sense now that I look at it… =[ sob

so was 12 a grid in answer.

i think i got that for adding the 27 terms together.

and what about 8. was that a grid in answer?
