Well here’s the deal, I got a 4 on the AP English Language exam but I got a 22 on the June ACT’s reading section. Will the 4 on the AP test reassure colleges that I know how to read =P?

i detect very little correlation as colleges go…

i got a 34 on ACT Reading, but a 3 on AP Eng. lang haha

I got a 4 on Lang and a 29 on ACT reading. :)

I’m pretty sure the AP Lang score will hold more value than the ACT reading score.

^ I doubt it. Most colleges do NOT count AP scores in the admissions process, whilst the ACT/SAT is a major component

Yeah, I got a 36 on the Reading Section and a 35 on the English Section, but a 4 on both Language and Lit tests.

AP Language shows your knowledge of a specific curriculum, while the SAT/ACT test your general ability to comprehend written information. Obviously, the former is correlated to the latter, but they’re different things.
