<p>chill out guys…most of you won’t get a decision until the end of march (acceptances) or mid april (some acceptances and wait-lists).</p>
<p>I got in! However, I’m OOS, so the price is causing me to hesitate - I would go in a heartbeat if only it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.</p>

<p>On what date? Let me think…2/28/08~ish? I can’t recall the exact date, but I think that’s a pretty darn good estimate. Of course, that was for Engineering, so the other schools might have different dates.</p>

<p>Called admissions office today. They said my app was complete Nov. 24th. It’s the last week of the 12-14 it’s supposed to take. They said a final decision has not been made. My admissions officer had said I should expect by Mar. 1st. Nothing they say is making sense. When will I know?</p>
<p>UMich Ann Arbor usually gives the decisions very late…I do know that people who applied around the deadline (Feb 1st) usually get their decisions by 10th April which is pretty late…</p>

Contact the office of admissions and ask for the contact info for your regional admissions officer.</p>
<p>thx vc08 , i mite wait a week or 2 more since one of my friends who also applied around the same time i did called the admissions office and he was told to expect a reply in early april.</p>
<p>Also one of my other friend’s got a letter through snail mail telling him he will get his decision in early april. He applied in late jan. Does this mean he was deferred?</p>

<p>Decisions that are NOT posted online usually mean deferral, though at this point I’d assume they’re moving to waitlist/rejection, since their review process is almost complete</p>
<p>My only question is…why are they saying a final decision has not been made? I find it hard to believe they don’t know whether they’re going to accept or reject me. It’s been since NOVEMBER 24. I picked up an advanced foreign language at their request. If they reject me, I will go absolutely insane with annoyance.</p>
<p>Similar situation here. I submitted my app by November 1st and they said they reached my recs around November 7th… then changed their mind and decided they didn’t have them (I later got those in by December 14th). Since I already have other acceptances, I’m not bothering myself too much with this - unless of course, I get no news by the end of the first week of April.</p>
