<p>So it’s March 1st? Or February 15th? Just curious. Anxious to start getting those letters, and most importantly to see financial aid if I’m accepted.</p>

<p>i dont understand why the hell they make you wait that long. Feb 15th would have been kinda late in comparison to other colleges, and march 1st is just unfair. i hope that they somehow get them out earlier</p>

<p>i really have no idea…im just hoping they do…usually schools are good at puttin stuff out earlier, i got my unc decision almost a full month befor etheir said date. but it seems like umd is pushing their deadline BACK, so idk</p>

<p>im guessing that they will send it out before march 1… because i applied to UNC and they said decisions would be out january 31 but i got mine january 9 or something…</p>

<p>Anyone know if umd gives you financial and merit info along with the acceptance letter?</p>

<p>nope nothing yet… they probably will only update the online decision screen come march 1…</p>

<p>I was invited to the honors program in the fall, nice reception. Is that a hook for acceptance?? Any thoughts would be appreciated</p>

<p>according to threads…people found out on 2/17 last year and the year before that they found out on 2/18…so i would expect a decision around that time</p>

<p>haha yea i was deferred from UNC and i’m OOS…it looks like a lot of ppl here applied to UNC lol</p>

<p>yea… i agree with JAW… i really think that “March 1” is just a date that they give that you will get your decision BY… and February 15th is the date that u will get ur decision AROUND…</p>

<p>over 30k students apply each year, so give them a break</p>
